Cedar Wood Himalayan has a dry - woody aroma, slightly camphoraceous, smoky & balsamic. Very subtle with a hint of spice. Also called Tibetan Cedar Wood. The ancient Egyptians already used this oil, namely to embalm, for cosmetics and perfumery.

Common Uses: Antiseptic, ant putrescent, antiseborrheic, aphrodesiac, astringent, diuretic, expectorant, fungicidal, mucilytic, sedative (nervous), stimulant (circulatory), tonic. In India, Himalayan Cedar Wood oil has been shown to possess insecticidal and anti fungal properties and to have some potential for control of fungal deterioration of spices during storage.
