True Yoga (CD) - Namaste
Simon Lovelock takes the Namaste torch along with Medwyn Goodall and Peter King to bring you the most inspired “True” album to date. True Yoga uses Simon Lovelock’s unique ability to blend meaningful instrumentation and breathtaking composition to present an album that is dually practical for both group and solo practice or simply a pleasure to be listened to. Through the manipulation of traditional raga forms the album has been designed to encompass the main practices of Yoga with tracks dedicated to Asanas, Pranayama, Relaxation and Meditation, all these maintaining the same ambiance yet distinctly different in their musical approach. The CD also comes with a comprehensive sleeve detailing the history of yoga and, as a first for the true series, also contains a photographic illustration of the Sun Salutation. We are also delighted to announce that this CD earned the backing of Ireland’s foremost Yoga Organization, Yoga Therapy Ireland.

Namaste means paying honour to the sacredness and interconnection of all, as well as to the source of that interconnection. In this spirit with the proud backing of MG Music the talents and resources of Medwyn Goodall, Peter King & the MG Music Stable have combined to form NAMASTE, a concept dedicated to producing the very best in dedicated therapy music. Not simply an agreement between artists and a label, but a synergy of purpose and passion utilising each individuals unique skills and experience in a way that has never been done before.
Medwyn is the guiding hand of the group, having knowledge of the New Age music industry that is second to none and a multitude of best selling titles to testify to his expertise both as a director and as an artist. Having worked with Peter and the other members of the MG Music Studio previously in great depth he had no reservations about sharing the creative reigns to bring into being music that was not only suitable for therapy, but music that actual therapists had been waiting on for years.
Peter King is an accomplished holistic therapist and teacher with a collective experience of the healing arts totalling over 12 years. He was born a natural “hands on healer” and has had an involvement in numerous holistic therapy organizations since his return to England after studying abroad at the age of 16. From this wealth of experience not only in the therapy room but with people who practice and receive these therapies he draws inspiration and direction to suggest music that is not simply good in theory, but in every stage of practice.
Unlike any other therapy series, the music being produced is not restricted to one style but will adapt and change to best fit the art it is being designed for. Because of this the artists chosen to produce each title have been especially selected for their particular musical talents and strength.
Namaste will bring to the world of dedicated therapy music a new level of quality and dedication never before undertaken in this way by a music studio. We believe the results speak for themselves.
