Jogging And Blogging

It’s not secret that I would go so far as to say that I hate Jogging. But winter in Sydney means that Duncan eats too many Carbs and the middle section begins to show signs of my Miss Piggy-ism. I used to jog a lot when I was young, young like teenage young-young. I am a big fella so jogging hurts my delicate butch and oversized physique. But alas (I just used the word alas) I have started jogging in the past 2 or 3 weeks and I’m really getting into it. I still hate jogging - but I’m getting into it. It’s the movement of jogging that makes me suffer. But I like to sweat. It makes me feel as though I’m doing something with real gumption. Working up a sweat when I walk long distances seems to take 3 times longer. To break into a sweat means that the whole cardio routine is kicking in and something is happening. Something like, burning Fat. I hate Fat. I’ve always been slightly larger than the masses, so it’s an age old torment. Blogging is easy, I ramble about whatever. Usually I make a blog at my desk and the only exercise is my linguistic function and a bit of right brain storming. I never blog when it storms outside. I turn off my computer when that happens. The last thing I need is a big spark from the heavens thrown up the Ram of my Hard drive. That nearly sounds romantic. Blogging and jogging are two entirely different things, but I think I am start to love them both more and more each day - and that’s a good thing. As Norm said back in the 80’s - Life Be In It. And I’m trying - lord I’m trying.

This evening’s Blog Roll was brought to you by my fat mid-section and the Letter F (for Fat) and the Number 125 (for the kilos I am).
Oh, and www.happyguru.com and Duncan. Love to you all. DC. :-)

PS: I don’t plan on having children any day soon - but if I was a freak about jogging and taking the child with me, I would probably need one of these.
Children and Jogging AND Blogging can be quite expensive.
