Earth Hour: 8-9p.m. March 29, 2008

March 4th, 2008

Created to take a stand against the greatest threat our planet has ever faced, Earth Hour uses the simple action of turning off the lights for one hour to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming.

This simple act has captured the hearts and minds of people all over the world. As a result, at 8pm March 29, 2008 - millions of people in some of the world’s major capital cities, including Sydney, Copenhagen, Toronto, Chicago, Melbourne, Brisbane and Tel Aviv will unite and switch off for Earth Hour.

The Global Good Soul Vibration Podcast has hit the Dirty Thirties mark - this is Podcast 30! Yay. What a busy weekend in Sydney and around Australia it was this weekend. It was The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras 30th Birthday Celebration and Street Parade Festival on Saturday night and Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday. There’s a Quick Trick Tip in today’s show on cutting up a Tomato with a blunt (or not so sharp knife) and a general round-up of the weekend’s events in the city. Have a beaut start to the week and thank you so much for listening to the show. Love to you all, Duncan. Today’s podcast was proudly brought to you by www.happyguru.com
